Weekly Meeting Minutes
April 25, 2007
If you were not at todays meeting you missed out on some important stuff. We have a lot of events that are scheduled for this weekend.
* On Friday we will be doing praire burning (weather permitting) and the sod removal. The sod removal will take place regardless of the weather. We will be there at 1:00 until around 5:00.
* On Saturday we will be having river clean up and roadside clean up. River clean up will now be at 10:00 instead of 9:00. That gives everyone an extra hour to get there and help. We will have bags and gloves or you can bring your own gloves. You are all welcome to bring somebody along with you.
* On Sunday Kevins group will be working on the bridges. They will be tearing down the old ones so that they can replace them next week. They are scheduled to start at 3:00, so if you are on the trail committee and have not talked to Kevin you need to do so.
REMEMBER PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED FROM ALL GROUP MEMBERS FOR RIVER CLEAN UP/ROADSIDE CLEAN UP AND THE SOD REMOVAL!!! it is not just the trail committee that needs to do this. These activites are like the candy sales we need everyone to participate with these events.
* The Doug Peacock event turned out very well. We raised around $650, and there is talk that Sams Club will match what we made, so that would make our revenue around $1,300.
* A Big Thank You to all of you that helped with the Peacock event, and thanks to all of you that attened.
**** I hope that I will see a majority of you all at the event that are
planned for this weekend. Please join us so that we can continue to accomplish
our goals this semester.
Thanks again,
Danielle
